Stay Healthy this Winter

Some people seem to expect having a cold or the flu each year.

Here are few things you can do to prevent that:
- Eat organic whole food, rich with vitamins and minerals
- Boost your immune system. Use supplements with Vitamin C, echinacea and goldenseal.
- Get a sufficent rest. Enough rest and good night sleep important for better health.
- Exercise regularly. Unlike the circulatory system, your lymphatic system depends upon exercise and movement to circulate those germ-fighting fluids.
- Think positive thoughts. Read, listen or watch something inspiring, happy and uplifting.
- Hydrate! Drinking enough water.
- Get regular massages. Massage promotes good circulation, body and mind relaxation.
- Soak your body in a hot bath with Epsom Salt (you can find at any grocery or pharmacy)
- Have a nice hot herbal tea with honey and lemon (homemade tastes much better than store brands)

My favorite hot tea for cold remedy , easy to make and tastes great.

- about 1 in fresh ginger root - wash, peel and sliced

- 2 cups of hot water

- 1 ts organic honey (adjust to your taste)

Put sliced fresh ginger in a glass or ceramic tea pot (or in a heat resistant container with cap), pour in 2 cups of hot water, let it steep for 5-10 min ( longer the time, pungent the taste - that's what I like; you can use it for your taste preference)

Add honey before serving and Enjoy.
